Dead seabirds recovered from beaches amid avian flu outbreak

Experts say the risk of humans catching Avian Flu is very low

Hundreds more dead seabirds have been recovered from beaches in the North East as concern over the impact of Bird Flu mounts.

An Aberdeenshire wildlife rescue centre says it’s no longer receiving sick seabirds due to the risk of infection spreading.

Avian Flu is affecting both wild birds and poultry, with an outbreak confirmed at an Aberdeenshire farm.
