Crown to reinvestigate death of woman four years ago

Demi Hannaway's death was treated as suicide but her parents believe she was killed.

When a young mother was found dead at her home in Lanarkshire four years ago it was treated as suicide.

But the parents of Demi Hannaway have always believed police failed to properly look at the role of her abusive partner.

After meeting them at the Crown Office, the Lord Advocate has confirmed a full re-investigation will take place – which could finally answer the question over whether Demi was murdered.
