Cross-party committee recommends devolving drugs legislation

The Scottish drugs minister is in favour but the Home Office is maintaining its opposition

Drug laws should be devolved to Scotland so drug consumption rooms can be trialled, according to a cross-party committee of MPs.

The Commons Home Affairs committee is recommending UK ministers back plans to set up a pilot of the facility in Glasgow.
