A woman who lost her wife to Covid has criticised the infection control procedures at the hospital where she died.
Jane Morrison is the first witness to give evidence at the Scottish Covid-19 inquiry, which is examining the Scottish Government’s handling of the pandemic.
Ms Morrison added she is disappointed the Scottish Government has not yet handed over any WhatsApp messages to the UK inquiry.
Tonight the Deputy First Minister insisted ministers are committed to co-operating with both COVID-19 inquiries.
It’s been reported the national clinical director Jason Leitch deleted his messages daily during the pandemic.
