Covid cause ‘extreme anxiety’ for pregnant women says report

They spoke of isolation, lack of support and their mental health being overlooked

Covid caused “extreme anxiety and distress” for pregnant women and maternity services according to a report published today.

The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland and Engender spoke with more than 200 women to hear their experiences.
