Council defends scheme to use volunteers to pick litter

Opinions are divided as to where the buck stops when it comes to messy streets

Glasgow City Council have defended installing more than 60 community litter picking hubs.

They say it’s everyone’s responsibility to keep the city tidy, but it’s lead to questions on social media from some who think the council should be doing more.
