The cost to tenants and the taxpayer of inadequate social housing has laid bare the worsening state of Scotland’s housing crisis.
A report shows a saving of almost £1,000 per taxpayer, could be made if more people were in the right home.
And the benefit to the tenant is even greater, as they’re estimated to contribute more than £10,000 to the economy if they lived in an adequate home.
