A coroner says the family of Jessie Earl have been the victims of a substantial miscarriage of justice. Police failed to treat the case as a murder inquiry meaning evidence which could have linked Scottish serial killer Peter Tobin to the death was destroyed.
It’s 42 years since she disappeared from her home in Eastbourne on the south coast of England. Gordon Chree reports.
