Concern as North East Just Transition Fund cash cut by 75%

The 10 year, £500 million programme was put in place in 2021

It’s designed to help the North East re-focus its economy from oil and gas.

But there’s concern after cash allocated for the Just Transition Fund was cut by 75%.

MSPs are now demanding the Scottish Government provides “clarity” over its future.
