A wildfire described “devastating” and “apocalyptic” tore through miles of vital habitat on the Isle of Bute over six days.
It’s the third major blaze there in a decade, breaking out as fire crews were battling multiple wildfires across the country last month.
STV News has been to meet some of those who worked to bring the wildfire under control and are now planning for the future.
