Community campaign underway to save Ayr ice rink

South Ayrshire Council says it will carry out an energy audit to discover if any savings can be made

A local community has started a campaign to save an ice rink in Ayr, after its owners announced it would have to close this year.

Owners said a rise in energy prices is the sole reason they cannot continue trading.
