Scotland’s rural economy is braced for multi-million pound losses as the majority of Scotland’s estates cancel this years Grouse shooting season.

The Glorious Twelfth isn’t looking so glorious after poor Spring weather resulted in many chicks dying.

It’s also the first year since controversial licencing was introduced to tackle persecution of birds of prey.
