Closing speeches made in Rossi rape extradition trial

The sheriff is expected to issue his decision next Wednesday

A prosecutor has told a sheriff not to rely on the evidence given by a rape suspect who is wanted in the United States.

Closing speeches have now been made in the extradition hearing of Nicholas Rossi and a decision on his fate is expected next week.

The 36 year old continues to maintain he is another man named Arthur Knight and his lawyer has argued extradition would be a “flagrant violation” of his human rights
