Cleansing staff in Glasgow are warning there could be major disruption to bin collections and street cleaning across the city if Councillors won’t meet with them to discuss the challenges they’re facing.
Glasgow City Council say only 52 staff were off today.
They’ve introduced a Bin Hub pilot scheme in some areas to address the staff’s health and safety concerns which is helping to keep the streets rubbish free for residents.
