Charity training volunteer first responders concerned for service

Over the last few months the charity has lost a third of their certified community first responders

First Responders in Fife say they’re “concerned” about their ability to attend medical emergencies due to issues accessing training.

The trained volunteers, including some from Anstruther, work with the Scottish Ambulance Service to provide life saving care before medics arrive.

But the charity says without more training, their service is stretched.
