Charity helping young people with Down’s syndrome leave home

Many people with the condition are more likely outlive their parents in comparison to 40 years ago.

A group of parents of young adults with Down’s Syndrome are calling for more appropriate housing for their children in Scotland.

The group, Co-Housing for Independent Living, is exploring different housing options for their kids who are ready to fly the nest.
