Charity calls for compulsory braille on all food packaging

A petition has been published at the Scottish Parliament

A charity is urging people to sign a petition which would make it compulsory for retailers to print braille on the back of food products.

At the moment, braille labelling is only required for medicines, meaning blind and visually impaired people who use braille are not able to identify the food products they wish to purchase and use.
