Chancellor expected to announce NI tax cuts in budget

Some other taxes may need to rise, and spending on public services in future years could be squeezed

The Chancellor is expected to announce another round of tax cuts when he delivers the Budget tomorrow, as the Conservatives ready the ground for a General Election later this year.

But with the UK economy flat-lining, there are fears future spending cuts may be needed to pay for a tax giveaway, impacting on already stretched public services.
