It’s a sex abuse scandal which has cast a dark shadow over one of Scotland’s most successful football clubs.
And today, more than 50 years since the first boy was targeted and criminal prosecutions spanning decades, Celtic Football Club has agreed to a seven-figure settlement for abuse survivors.
It follows a US-style class action launched by 28 former Celtic Boy’s Club players who were targeted and sexually abused by founder Jim Torbett and coach Frank Cairney.
