A cargo ship that collided with an oil tanker in the North Sea has arrived in Aberdeen for further inspection.
The Solong was towed to the city after crashing earlier this month off the East Coast of Yorkshire, sparking a major rescue operation.
One crew member is still missing, presumed dead, and the Solong’s captain has been charged over the incident.
But the ship’s arrival this morning has sparked concern from some, about any possible environmental impact here, after plastic pellets were washed up on beaches near where the collision happened.
