Care provider to close specialist Lanarkshire dementia units

Families fear their loved ones could end up back on a locked hospital ward

One of the UK’s largest care home providers is closing three of its specialist dementia units in Lanarkshire.

HC-One’s Milnwood, Mossend and Orbiston units in Bellshill are the only sites in the area which look after residents with advanced dementia needs.
