Capital spending freeze lifted to allow hospital completion

It means Grantown on Spey will have its half-built hospital finished

The Scottish Government has lifted its freeze on capital spending to allow completion of a Highland hospital upgrade.

It’s thought unlikely the U-turn will be repeated with other capital projects across Scotland.
