Campaigners warn of national temporary homes crisis

The system is designed to be short-term, but a social housing shortage leaves many in limbo

More than 14,000 households are currently in temporary homeless accommodation across Scotland – a record high.

With more than 9,000 children among those without permanent homes, campaigners are warning that this is a national crisis.
