Campaigners say they’ve been left “in tears” over plans for a so-called “monster pylon project” set to be submitted in the coming weeks.
If approved, the £20bn proposals by SSEN Transmission will see pylons as tall as 70m high erected across the countryside from Caithness to Angus.
The final round of public consultation has now finished, but locals say they haven’t been listened to.
