Campaigners hold final protest over ‘devastating’ library cuts

The council said it made the decision due to 'significant financial pressures'

Campaigners who’re fighting against the “devastating” decision to close six libraries in Aberdeen have held a final “read-in” protest.

Ferryhill Library will be among those to shut its doors because of local authority budget cuts.

But campaigners claim they are vital services for the community.
