Campaigners ‘devastated’ as Eye Pavilion to temporarily close

NHS Lothian say patients affected by the closure will be contacted.

Campaigners say they are devastated following the announcement that the Eye Pavilion in Edinburgh will close for six months in October.

The facility has been plagued with issues and was deemed unfit for purpose back in 2014.

Plans for a new hospital have been put on hold.
