A giant inflatable bowel is being used to draw people's attention to the condition.

The charity Bowel Cancer UK is urging more people locals in Edinburgh to be aware of the signs and symptoms of the disease.

Around 4,000 of the 44,000 people in the UK diagnosed with bowel cancer are from Scotland.
