Campaign keeps doors open for family support charity

But a one-off council grant will allow the venue to keep running

A “life saving” service in one of Edinburgh’s most deprived areas has been saved from closure, after a passionate campaign.

Funding shortages meant that the future of the Muirhouse Millennium Centre – which is home to a charity supporting low income families – was in doubt.
