Campaign encouraging people to think differently about dementia

The campaign was launched by the Scottish Government along with COSLA.

When it comes to Dementia, people often associate it with the later stages of the disease – but many diagnosed with the condition continue to live independently.

Around 90,000 Scots live with dementia, but the effects can differ for each person – that’s why a new campaign is encouraging us to think differently about it, as research suggests continuing with everyday activities can help those with the condition stay well for longer.
