CalMac boss open to vessel procurement process restructuring

The firm currently works alongside the government agency CMAL and Transport Scotland

The boss of ferry operator CalMac says he is willing to consider alternative set-ups for building new vessels.

However, long delays and massive cost overruns for 2 vessels being built at Ferguson Marine have sparked questions over whether the process should be restructured.
