CalMac apologises for disruption to busy Arran ferry route

One MSP has claimed Scotland's ferries are in a state of national emergency.

CalMac has apologised for the latest disruption to the ferry service on its busiest route to Arran.

A fault discovered on one of the vessels has put it out of action, while a second is undergoing annual maintenance.
