There are calls tonight for an urgent meeting of the UK Government to deal with the spiralling cost of living crisis. The First Minister and a former Prime Minister are both warning that people could face destitution this winter.
And there’s further concern that businesses are going bust. One Chinese takeaway in Aberdeen has seen it’s fuel bills rise from almost £10,000 to more than £40,000 a year.
