An increase in support for people living with mental health conditions is needed to help cut suicide rates, say charities.
704 people died by suicide in Scotland last year, 11% fewer than the previous year and the lowest since 2017.
On a visit to a crisis centre in Perth, the Minister for Mental Health pledged to do more to help save lives.
But services say they need the security of long term funding to meet growing demand for support.
