Women diagnosed with an rare and aggressive type of cancer after being exposed to a pregnancy drug, which has since been banned, are calling for a national inquiry into the scandal.
Diethlystilbestro or D.E.S, was hailed as a “wonder drug” but in recent years, it’s been linked to a range of fertility problems and rare cancers that have been passed down to their children and even grandchildren.
Thousands of women in Scotland are thought to be affected.
They’re now calling for enhanced cancer screenings and crucially, for answers.
