Call for action as Glasgow’s rat population a ‘health hazard’

Last year sightings of rats were reported to the council nearly 8,000 times

The union representing the city’s cleansing workers say Glasgow’s rat population has become a health hazard.

It comes as part of Festival Park in Govan has been cordoned off due to a rodent infestation.
