A £470 million permanent solution for “Rest and Be Thankful” is being put to those who live and work along A83.
For over a decade, travel on the road has been disrupted by closures, diversions, and convoys due to landslips at the beauty spot.
Proposals would see a cover put over the road and deeper catch pits built.
Businesses along the route say they’re welcoming the plans but insist they are long overdue.
