If you’ve seen any of the offers being advertised you won’t need reminding that today is Black Friday – a tradition imported from America where discounted deals are used to encourage shoppers to spend early for Christmas.
But many Scottish retailers are reporting footfall at their shops is down this year – and they’re urging us to support local businesses rather than chains and online giants.
