Safety, transport and business concerns in Edinburgh have sparked a fresh push for the council to introduce a ‘night czar’ or ‘night time co-ordinator’.
There are similar posts already in place in London, Manchester and Bristol – they’re seen as champions of nightlife, music and culture.
