Business owners worried as Ayr station remains closed after fire

South Ayrshire Council say they’re working on measures to lessen the impact for local businesses

Business owners in Ayr say they’re fearful they’ll need to shut up shop if footfall in the area doesn’t improve.

Retailers say they’ve suffered since Station Hotel went on fire. No trains have run through the station since September and crucial roads have closed.
