Housebuilders are warning that unless the Scottish Government makes changes to planning legislation, the country won’t meet demand for new homes.
One builder has told STV News getting approval for new homes has jumped from six months to three years.
26,000 additional workers are required within to fill a major skills shortage and help the country meet building targets. It comes as members from the industry met with the Scottish Government.
