Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens launched a recovery fund after it was badly hit by Storm Eowyn.

A total of 15 trees came down on Friday, including the tallest in the capital, which was planted back in 1859.

Meanwhile, the garden’s greenhouses suffered significant damage.
