Dundee isn’t a place commonly associated with the Gaelic language, but there are signs it’s slowly on the rise.
According to the latest census data, the city has almost a thousand Gaelic speakers.
But now it’s hoped that a new book, Uncovering Dundee’s Hidden Gaelic Roots, can encourage more people to engage with the language and learn about its influence on the city we know today.
