A community group in Blantyre, set up by a mother and daughter with the hope of restoring pride in the town, has reached the final of this year’s Britain in Bloom competition.
Bonnie Blantyre gives schools, volunteers and businesses the chance to join forces to carry out good deeds in the area — such as litter picking, watering plants and growing food for those in need.
