The Conservative leader says her party would make the North Sea a ‘cornerstone’ of the economy and promised operators they would continue extraction for years to come, if she got into power.
Kemi Badenoch hit out at the UK Government saying it had treated the sector as a “relic of the past”.
It comes as thousands converged on Aberdeen for the start of the industry event, Offshore Europe.
