Backlash over number of closures for Queen’s funeral

Schools, nurseries and GP surgeries will be shut, major supermarkets will run reduced hours or not open at all

The Queen’s funeral on Monday has been designated as a bank holiday prompting many shops, services and businesses to close.

But for some there’s a backlash over the impact on people’s daily lives.
