Plans for a major development in the centre of Aviemore have thrown a spotlight on a housing shortage that’s gripped much of the north of Scotland.
The proposal is for a hotel and shops.
It would also feature self-catering accommodation, which has angered locals who’ve long campaigned for more affordable homes.
