Aurora Borealis illuminates skies across Scotland

Clear skies across Scotland were illuminated by the light display from around 9pm

It seems you didn’t have to be in the north of the country last night to catch a glimpse of the spectacular Aurora Borealis.

The Northern Lights are able to be seen as solar winds disturb Earth’s magnetosphere.
