Assisted dying legalisation bill to be published

Supporters of the Bill say it will ease the suffering of people in their final days

Tomorrow sees the publication of a bill looking to legalise assisted dying for terminally ill adults.

The proposals are being introduced at Holyrood by the Liberal Democrat MSP Liam McArthur.

However opponents remain concerned people will feel pressured into ending their lives.
