Almost 50 years on from their disappearance, the Army is assisting police in a new search for the remains of murdered Inverness mother and son Renee and Andrew Macrae.
Experts have been carrying out scans of land formerly owned by Andrew’s father Bill MacDowell, who was jailed for the murder of the mother and son in 2022, and later died in prison.
