App for visually impaired saved after being taken offline

With the help of volunteers, the team were able to recreate the tool which they say has changed lives

An app which enables visually impaired people to safely navigate public spaces using audio instructions, has been saved by a Fife-based support group.

Seescape reproduced the Microsoft app which was taken offline by the tech giant at the end of August, after 7 years of use.
